Ever since next year's royal wedding was announced two weeks ago speculation has been mounting about the all important question - who will design Kate Middleton's wedding dress? A lot of names have been bandied about, and last week London designer Phillipa Lepley was the favourite. But now it seems that a new front runner has emerged - Bruce Oldfield.
Yesterday bookmakers Paddys Power closed their books on the designer choice because everyone wanted to put their money on Oldfield. The designer already has royal credentials - he was a favourite of Princess Diana, designing a whole host of glamorous dresses for her.
Natrually both Oldfield and the future Princess herself are keeping tight lipped on the subject for now - so let the speculation continue.
