Now it seems that the exclusive fashion world is set to get another boost - rumours are circulating that Gucci is set to launch its first couture collection.
According to WWD, creative director Frida Giannini is working on the debut pieces as we speak - but the label won't be adding itself to the Paris couture week schedule.
Instead the dresses will sold by apoointment only, and while we're sure that a handful of couture customers will be lining up, the idea is that the label will cater to celebrity fans. So we'll probably be seeing a lot more Gucci dresses hitting the red carpet.
