How we love a high street/designer collaboration.

Banana Republic and Issa London are the latest to announce they’ll be joining forces to bring something fresh to the high street.

It’s the first time Issa has collaborated with a high street brand and we can’t wait to see the results.

The nearly 40-piece collection will include clothing and accessories inspired by 'safari and the spirit of exotic travel'. The sketches below give us a taster of what's to come - and we like it.

Expect animal print, kimono dresses and statement jewellery and the unique brand of ultra-feminine silhouettes and thoughtful tailoring that has won Issa high-profile fans including Kate and Pippa Middleton.

Banana Republic’s creative director, Simon Kneen, said, ‘We were immediately inspired by Banana Republic’s heritage of safari adventures when we dreamt up this collection together.’

With prices ranging from £29.50 to £99.50, it’s also an affordable way to get a piece of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite brand. She famously chose a blue Issa dress to announce her engagement in 2010.

The collection will launch exclusively in select Banana Republic stores worldwide and online on the 13 August 2013.

Stay tuned – ELLE will be bringing you more on the collection as we wear it.
