It's been a great year for Jamie Dornan: he was ELLE’s Man of the Week back in January, made us all question whether it’s ok to fancy a sadistic yet super-hot serial killer in BBC2’s The Fall, and landed himself the sexiest role ever in the history of film, as Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey (we cannot wait).

Now the Northern Irish actor has been announced as the face of Ermenegildo Zegna’s spring/summer 2014 campaign, proving that he looks almost as good suited and booted as he does in his undies in Calvin Klein ads. (We did say almost.)

Stefano Pilati’s campaign, shot by Inez and Vinoodh, is called Eminences Grises – translation: powerful, behind-the-scenes decision makers. The eagle-eyed will also have spotted that ‘gris’ is French for grey and Jamie is sporting a grey suit. We sense a theme…

'Jamie was our face of choice, not only because he is an accomplished actor, but also an unconventional model with a strong personal sense of style and substance. He has made understatement the key to his success,' commented Pilati.

One thing’s for sure: grey is Jamie’s colour. We can’t wait to see the other 49 shades.
