Confirmed: John Galliano is to start working as a consultant for Russian perfume chain L'Etoile.
It's been a rocky road for Galliano since his very public dismissal from his role as creative director at in 2011, following anti-Semitic comments made by the designer.
Rumours of his next step have abounded as Galliano has flitted between short-term projects a three-week guest residency at , a stint as a costume designer for Stephen Fry's production of The Importance of Being Earnest in London.
Russia's largest perfume chain (and stockist of designer cosmetic brands, including Dior), L'Etoile broke the news on their own website with the statement 'John is back!'
