When youre one of the worlds most legendary musicians no-one is going to refuse the chance to appear in one of your music videos. Which is why were so excited about this afternoons unveiling of the video for Paul McCartneys new single, Queenie Eye.
As we told you last week, it will see one of our favourite ever former celebrity couples reunited Kate Moss and Johnny Depp. But theyre not the only stars who flocked to Abbey Road Studios to make a cameo. Meryl Streep, Tom Ford, James Corden, Lily Cole, Gary Barlow and Alice Eve are just some of the other famous friends that Sir Paul roped in.
Directed by Simon Aboud, the video apparently sees McCartney recording his track in an apparently empty studio before, unbeknownst to him, it starts to fill with people who all react to the song in different ways.
A making of film, which gives us a first glimpse of Kates performance, has been released, as well as a 60 second clip of Johnny Depp nodding along to his iPod.
...And, now, here's the final, just-released film. Enjoy!
