When you’re one of the world’s most legendary musicians no-one is going to refuse the chance to appear in one of your music videos. Which is why we’re so excited about this afternoon’s unveiling of the video for Paul McCartney’s new single, Queenie Eye.

As we told you last week, it will see one of our favourite ever former celebrity couples reunited – Kate Moss and Johnny Depp. But they’re not the only stars who flocked to Abbey Road Studios to make a cameo. Meryl Streep, Tom Ford, James Corden, Lily Cole, Gary Barlow and Alice Eve are just some of the other famous friends that Sir Paul roped in.

Directed by Simon Aboud, the video apparently sees McCartney recording his track in an apparently empty studio before, unbeknownst to him, it starts to fill with people who all react to the song in different ways.

A ‘making of’ film, which gives us a first glimpse of Kate’s performance, has been released, as well as a 60 second clip of Johnny Depp nodding along to his iPod.
