Kate Spade is a very big deal Stateside. The New York through and through label has stores across the U.S. and is a favourite with fashion fans and the A-list - Sienna Miller and Sarah Jessica Parker have both been spotted toting Kate Spade bags. Now, at long last, we Brits can get a slice of the action too - the label has opened a pop-up store in London's Covent Garden.
The shop's doors opened this morning, and if you want to check it out then you'll have to hurry as it's only open for a month. Head down and, if you can tear your eyes away from the interior decor of the store (honestly, we almost moved in) then you'll be able to stock up on everything from the label's signature bags to clothing and bed linen. Keep your eyes peeled for the eye-popping clutch bags designed to look like novels - top of our Christmas wish list right now.
And to mark the label's first ever London outing it has produced some pieces just for the capital's store. We were particularly taken with the red enamel bangle emblazoned with the slogan 'London Calling', and there are T-shirts and bags to choose from too.
And if you don't manage to get to the store before it closes then don't panic - rumour has it that the brand is on the hunt for a more permanent London home that will open next year.
The Kate Spade pop-up shop opens today at 7 Henrietta Street, WC2E 8PW.
