After five years showing at New York Fashion Week, the designer, who is also famous for her long term relationship with Rolling Stone Mick Jagger, decided to take her presentation ‘on the road’ last season, showing on the Paris Fashion Week schedule.
Now she’s coming to us for the first time. ‘I liked the idea of not being tied to one place, one time, one format,’ Scott told WWD. ‘My brand is now expanding in Europe and showing in London this season feels right. We always move to our own rhythm.’
Scott is the latest in a string of designers who have moved to London: Alexander McQueen’s diffusion line McQ showed in London for the first time in February, whilst Moschino Cheap and Chic had their first London show in September this year.
Scott’s show will be on Sunday 17 February 2013, the third day of London’s five-day fashion extravaganza, which kicks off on 15 February.
