Word has reached ELLE towers that queen of pop (and former ELLE cover star) Lady Gaga will appear in Versaces spring/summer 2014 ad campaign, shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in London.
You can imagine our excitement when we heard the news after years of suspicion that there was something in the pipeline between the platinum blondes.
Whilst nothing has been confirmed from the fashion house just yet, our bets are on it being true. Why? Gaga has always let her adoration of Dontella be known, even paying homage to the designer in one of her songs, aptly named Donatella.
The Born This Way singer has said of the lyrics: Its my love letter to Donatella Its about being a fearless female and not caring about what people say about you being proud of who you are and walking the walk no matter what.'
Dont worry Gaga, the feeling is mutual. Earlier this year, Donatella gave Gaga the ultimate compliment, saying, Im very proud to say that Lady Gaga is a friend of mine She is part of the Versace family.'
