Back in July French Playboy featured a selection of provocative images of Lara Stone. It came as quite a surprise to a lot of people, not least the Dutch model herself who hadn't given her permission for the pics to be used. She'd posed for photographer Greg Lotus the year before and was not altogether thrilled that the snaps ended up in the magazine - and she promptly sued both the mag and Lotus for the damage to her reputation.
According to the Telegraph she's just won her case in Paris. French Playboy has paid out substantial damages that Stone has decided to donate to Great Ormond Street hospital. and will have to publish a statement in its next issue to apologise.
In a statement Stone says, 'No woman wants photos of them to be published in Playboy without permission. I'm very pleased to have won the case, although of course I would rather not have had to take legal action at all.'
