Right now in the #ELLEFashionCupboard there’s not a lot of actual work going on. Why? Because Levi’s has temporarily moved in with it’s Tailor Shop, complete with its tailoring master, Scott Boyd-Errol, so that we can get involved with its new customization service.

The idea? Head into store and, as well making free alterations to any Levi’s pieces that you own – yup, even those ancient, falling-apart-at-the-seams ones – the in-house tailors will no help you to make your jackets and jeans your own.

A clutch of patches, letters and embroidery designs have been conjured especially for the purpose – just choose what you want and where you want it and the experts will do the rest. They’ll even whip out the sandpaper and distress you denim for you – and show you how to DIY in the process.

Prices start at £5. For more information visit levi.com/tailorshop
