has been busy making his mark at Loewe - rather literally.

The house has today unveiled a new brand graphic, which is the first hint towards the direction in which Anderson, who was appointed to the role in September, will be taking the 168-year-old Spanish brand.

The logotype, we're told, was 'inspired by German-born British typographer Berthold Wolpe, hinting at the German roots of Enrique Loewe Roessberg, who established the house by giving his name to a cooperative of leather craftsmen from Madrid'.

It was created by Michael Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak of M/M (Paris), who have also reworked the brand's packaging.

Intrigued? Our first real look at what's been going on in the studio will come during the menswear shows later this month, plus there's a new campaign in the pipeline, shot by Steven Meisel.
