Martone is already a stalwart of the industry - he works for ad agency Chandelier Creative on a clutch of fashion brands - but now he's dipping his toe into the design side of things. He's teamed up with jewellery designer Jules Kim to create a swimwear label called Nycked and, inspired by his Brazilian background, the pieces are super-sexy and sleek and decidedly high fashion - there are sequins aplenty, oversized bows and corset-style lacing apparently
And if you think that Marc had a hand in the range then you're wrong - Martone told WWD, 'Relationships are hard enough without mixing business into them. I don’t advise mixing the personal and professional.'
