But his latest character isn’t a matter of fancy dress—it’s a film role.
‘I got cast in a role in a movie,’ Jacobs, attending the WSJ Magazine Innovator of the Year Awards in New York, told Style.com. ‘They’re filming next week and I’m excited. I get to play a character that’s not myself at all.’
Jacobs’s previous film experience comes from his appearance in Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton, a 2007 documentary about the French brand, and his work on the wardrobe of Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited.
No word on what the film is or what the role involves, but we’ll be watching.
