WWD reported today that has been spending time in Paris, ghost-designing for the house.
It comes after Margielas owner, Renzo Rosso, was spotted at Schwabs , along with the brands CEO. The labels founder, the ever-elusive Martin Margiela, relinquished control of the house in 2009.
Intellectual, conceptual, progressive, introspective these are all words to describe Margiela. Schwabs collections on the other hand, are more red carpet friendly.
Worn by stars including Bond girl Naomie Harris, Schwab's dresses are a celebration of womanhood, whether referencing a vampy, sequinned femme fatale, a strong warrior princess or a dramatic Gothic heroine.
As yet, Maison Martin Margiela has not confirmed the appointment.
