Marni and Proenza Schouler do denim

The Proenza boys revealed their J Brand designs on the catwalk in New York just weeks ago - come July you'll be queing up to buy paint splashed, high-waisted skinny jeans (pictured). It's the first time that the cult US label has embraced the wardrobe staple, and we can't help hoping that it won't be the last.

Also branching out into the world of jeans is Italian fashion house Marni, who has teamed up with celebrity favourite Current/Elliot, famed for its vintage-inspired pieces and creator of the essential boyfriend jean. The designs are firmly under wraps for now but with Consuelo Castiglioni and the helm they're sure to be something a bit special. We'll keep you posted...
