It’s not that denim is anything new, exactly. But with a pair of old-school dungarees at the top of everyone’s summer wishlist and Selfridges’ new Denim Studio having just opened its doors, it’s fair to say that fashion is currently in the thrall of the blue (or white, or black) stuff.

Enter MiH.

The West London-based jeans brand has teamed up with artisan embroiderers Hawthorne & Heaney to offer customers the chance to add a bespoke touch to their new-season purchases by way of its new monogramming service.

‘At MiH Jeans when we do something, we like to do it really well,’ says the label. ‘We’ve been wanting to find a beautiful way to personalise our jeans forever and recently found the answer in a small team of hand embroiderers based in London.

‘They are artisans of their craft.’

Costing £35 for up to three initials in a choice of colours and fonts, the service is available from today.
