As Monday mornings go it wasn’t a bad one. Bacon butties at Claridges flowed by a ride in the Harrods bus to see the unveiling of the Mulberry Christmas window certainly beats rush hour on the tube.

The special windows, designed by celebrated set designer Shona Heath, depict the English countryside at Christmas with snow-dusted foxes, owls, bunny rabbits and deer dancing across the five fairytale windows – all punctuated of course with Mulberry handbags and accessories.

And in keeping with the enchanted woodland theme we were then invited into Harrods for a fairytale reading by Downton Abbey’s Allen Leech. A magical Monday indeed.

Visit the pop-up space in the run-up to Christmas where fairytale storytelling will take place every Saturday, along with Monogramming and bespoke gift-wrapping.
