Fresh from her jaunt around London for the Paralympic torch relay, good-looking do-gooder Natalia Vodianova popped into Russian restaurant Mari Vanna in Knightsbridge to launch a tasty new addition to the menu; her ‘Naked Heart Dessert’. The guilt-free indulgence that donates 100% of its profits to her Naked Heart Foundation.

Coming from a disadvantaged background herself, the mother-of-three felt compelled by her experiences as a child and opportunities as an adult, to improve the lives of Russian children by building playgrounds throughout her native country. ‘I think play is the best therapy for children,' she said 'When I was a child, it was only when I played that I was happy and could forget about the realities of life.’

As well organizing all this, the supermodel will be taking in - but not walking in – the shows at Paris Fashion Week. ‘I always go to , , and . Sadly, I won’t make it to London Fashion Week though I love all the local designers here especially and .’

Does this mean she’s planning to focus her time entirely on the charity? ‘No, no. I adore modeling — that’s my form of play so I don’t think of it in terms of juggling it and the foundation. I love what I do and will continue to do it for a very long time to come.’
