It’s that time again, where we all want to start afresh with new goals to achieve in the coming year. Team Elle had an amazing 2013, and we know that 2014 is going to be even better! Here are some of the team’s resolutions for the new year:

Sophie Beresiner, Beauty Director

Try to amalgamate my paper, outlook, and iPhone diaries for more organised organisation.

Don't be scared of running in the rain.

Try to shop less.

Collette Lyons, Acting Content Director

I'm going to start Bikram Yoga again (I used to go four times a week without fail, but fell off the wagon), attempt the 5:2 diet and start going to upholstery classes (I'm moving house, and want pretty new chairs).

Kirsty Dale, Executive Fashion Director

Get a weekend with the girls booked in.

Dirty the running shoes, which look far too pristine still.

Try to break the 3 o'clock chocolate habit…

To disconnect from the computer and reconnect with real people more often.

Get properly back into my running – I have some big races lined up in 2014 and I want to make sure I am as fit as I can be to do my best!

To stop eating everything in sight like I’m never going to eat again! Back onto 5:2 to sort this bloatation device out!

My new year’s resolution is to make more time for my friends. (And to wash my hair more…. Obviously.)

To join ELLE running club (translate: get off my fat bum and do some damn exercise for once!)

Get into Yoga and Pilates again (see above).

To be more creative (get back into taking photos and take up some life drawing – being arty AND seeing naked people – win win surely?)

Wake up on time.

Drink less.

Travel more.

Forget all of this by the 2nd with a large beer.
