The fashion world remembers Gianni Versace

On Sunday, 10 years to the day since Gianni Versace was tragically murdered on July 15 1997 on the steps of his Miami home, the fashion pack will gather in Milan for a weekend of remembrance and celebration to mark the life of one of the most iconic fashion designers of the 20th century.

Versace's sister Donatella and brother Santo have invited guests, including supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, to watch a specially-commissioned gala opera entitled 'Thank you Gianni, with love' at La Scala in Milan, followed by a lavish dinner in the city for 500 people.
