For spring Kors gave us an African adventure filled with safari-inspired kaftans, linen cargo jackets and silk anoraks. It was the detail that was the talking point though. Haircalf patchwork shifts used an assortment of animal print, cashmere and linen was hand-dyed to give a fired earth colour, and sweaters were pieced together using squares of differently woven effects.
The stand-out pieces were the boxy leopard print t-shirt and shorts and the hand-painted feathered shifts. After 30 years still a force to be reckoned with: steely and indestructible, a bit like the lady with the broken leg.
