Giorgio Armani will celebrate more than a decade of Armani in China with a fashion extravaganza in Beijing today. And we have a way for you to enjoy the show—no passport required.
‘I’ve always had a very special relationship with China, a country with a rich cultural background and a sophisticated aesthetic which has often inspired me in my search for atmosphere and mood,’ Giorgio Armani said. ‘It is a place to which I have paid homage in many of my collections.’
The Italian designer will present a major catwalk show of his autumn winter 2012 men’s and women’s collections, the Armani Privé SS12 collection and 15 special Armani Privé looks created in tribute to China.
Nearly 1,000 guests will take in the extravaganza. Watch our live stream of the event from 1:00pm today in the video player below.
Armani opened his first boutique in Beijing in 1998, anticipating the economic boom that would lead the luxury industry to China.
‘More than a decade after my arrival in China, it seems to me that the time has come to celebrate our presence in the country and to present the current collections in a special way, edited just for this purpose.’
See you in Beijing...
