‘I’ve always had a very special relationship with China, a country with a rich cultural background and a sophisticated aesthetic which has often inspired me in my search for atmosphere and mood,’ Giorgio Armani said. ‘It is a place to which I have paid homage in many of my collections.’

The Italian designer will present a major catwalk show of his autumn winter 2012 men’s and women’s collections, the and 15 special Armani Privé looks created in tribute to China.

Armani opened his first boutique in Beijing in 1998, anticipating the economic boom that would lead the luxury industry to China.
