Robert Pattinson’s Dior Homme ads have been a long time in the unveiling, but our patience is today doubly rewarded – with both the uncut video, and second film of the actor (bearded and knitwear-clad) talking us through it in his own words.

The exclusive behind-the-scenes interview celebrates the release of the full-length #DiorRob video, which was directed by Romain Gavras and features music by Led Zeppelin. It shows a smouldering (what else?) R-Patz smoking in the bath, speeding along the beach and generally being a super-sexy bad-ass with sidekick Camille Rowe.

‘We were all thinking of something different, as Romain’s style is so violent. And from what I’ve seen, that doesn’t really go with fragrance commercials,’ says Rob.

‘I wanted to do something different for me. Regardless of anything else, I felt like my career as an actor was going in a certain direction, and I felt like working with Romain and also doing something quite mainstream, but also edgy. I think it kind of fit into where I want my life to go.’
