ELLE started London Fashion Week right last night with a strictly invitation-only party at The Sanderson to celebrate our incredible October issue, our This Is London exhibition, and the new season at large.
Star for the evening was cover girl Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who wore a slashed-through black jumpsuit with impossibly perfect hair (really: no fair). We also unveiled an exclusive short film, shot to celebrate her special relationship with ELLE.
It had quite the audience. A Sandro-clad Ellie Goulding dropped by for a lychee Martini, as did Annabelle Wallis, Gemma Cairney and ELLE contributor Taiye Selasi (who wore one of the most beautiful skirts we've ever seen - Alice + Olivia, since you ask). Unfazed by their impending shows, star London designers Giles Deacon, Roksanda Ilincic and Richard Nichol also joined us for the celebrations.
