The has been one of the most discussed of the season. From the grunge-style catwalk show to the music-themed campaign images starring Courtney Love, Daft Punk and Kim Gordon and the A-list fans already adding pieces to their wardrobes, it seems the fashion world can’t get enough of Hedi Slimane’s second collection for the fashion house.

This morning we finally got to get up close and personal with it. The sheer, embellished body stocking as worn by Kate Moss; the mannish knits and biker trousers; the buckled leather dresses and plaid shirts; the roller skates (yes really) and the new bag shapes.

So what’s the ELLE verdict? Anne-Marie Curtis gives her thoughts – and favourite pieces. ‘You need to see the Saint Laurent collection up close to truly 'get' it,’ she says. ‘The workmanship and attention to detail is extraordinary but for me it’s the simplicity and, yes, wearability that make it feel so modern….and so wantable. Despite his 'rebel' reputation Hedi really does classic brilliantly. A grey duffle coat, a simple black longer length pea coat and a perfectly crafted biker jacket were all forever pieces and the leather beaded dress had 'collectible' written all over it. Rock and roll has never looked so chic.’

See which stars love Saint Laurent.
