The Americans have long had the tradition of Black Friday, where many retailers offer jaw-dropping discounts to kick-start the holiday shopping season.
We don't have a Black Friday per se, but the cleverest retailers are offering early-season discounts, and we've cherry-picked the most fashionable ones here:
