The couture house Schiaparelli has announced the departure of their creative director, Marco Zanini.
The Milan-born designer, who has previously worked for , and , had only been at Schiaparelli since September 2013, but reportedly felt that the label was ‘not exactly his fit, according to WWD.
A new creative director has yet to be announced but, speaking to WWD, Schiaparelli has said, 'The House of Schiaparelli is looking towards its future while transcending the aesthetic codes created by Elsa Schiaparelli. It follows a dynamic where a contemporary spirit meets its founder’s daring personality.'
