Slouchy knitted dresses in both minis and maxi lengths were colour blocked in ice cream shade, loose fitting shorts and trousers were teamed with colourful knits, and there was even a smattering of jumpsuits. Big gold buttons featured heavily, lined up down the sides of dresses and undone to reveal flashes of leg. And the looks were teamed with fisherman hats and the label’s now signature big, bouncy hair.
For the final the models danced down the runway sporting knitted sweaters and matching gym knickers teamed with colourful shades, bringing a smile to even the most jaded fashion editors face. Not to mention Sonia herself, who was perched on the front row. It was classic Rykiel - and we loved it.
