When it comes to the forward thinking sounds of house music no one is more diverse with their critical sound than London based producer Alexis Raphael.

From running his London club night Crèche, alongside sparring partner Cozzy D, to playing headline sets in Ibiza, Alexis’ fresh and original sound keeps the club lovers dancing from dusk till dawn.

His release ‘Kitchens and Bedrooms’, which was later remixed by Ibiza favourite Lee Foss, provides listeners with all the aurally desirable components of a single house tune. From the bouncy proverbial bassline to the disco-esque vocal it’s the perfect summer house anthem that is guaranteed to give an instant smile.

Released on the infamous Lower East label, this was the highly anticipated second release for Raphael, after his much acclaimed first release ‘Spaceship’, a compilation only EP released on Hotwaves, a project that was complied by house royalty Jamie Jones and Lee Foss.

His later releases include ‘Into The Light’, a 3 track EP, which features these warm sultry vocals and soul soothing synths, and then we have ‘Heavyweight’ a track, in which he collaborated with moody disco head Ashley Wild.

Alexis’ summer sounds were the perfect backdrop for our behind the scenes video with Gwen Stefani as we thought his sassy sounds were perfect for the iconic blonde singer.
