The unlikely star of the new ads? Terry Richardson’s tattooed forearm.

In the house’s a/w13 accessories campaign, the bespectacled photographer – who is out of shot – can be seen grabbing at its Rockstud Rouge and Rockstud Noir studded heels and handbags.

It’s the first time Richardson, who is no stranger to being in front of the camera as well behind it, has worked with Valentino design duo Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri. The latter explained to WWD that the idea was to convey ‘the sensual yet elegant nature of our accessories, described as objects of desire’.
