Tom Ford has signed a 10-year lease to join Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Fendi on Londons Sloane Street with his first stand alone UK shop.
Ford will take over the 8,000 square-foot property at 201-206 Sloane Street (the Harvey Nicks end), and pay £1.3 million/year in rent to the Cadogan estate, says yesterdays Sunday Times.
The shop will house the Texan designers full collection, including his hugely popular menswear collection which is currently only available at Selfridges.
The ex-Gucci and YSL designer opened a shop within the confines of Harrods last year, and has concessions inside Harvey Nichols and Selfridges, but this will be his first UK flagship store something that will please his celebrity fans Beyoncé, Gwyneth and Mrs Beckham, were talking to you.
