The intimidatingly well-groomed designer will share his autumn winter 2013 collection with the British fashion press as his first UK store opens on London's Sloane Street.
‘I am very pleased to be showing my Menswear collection in London next January,’ Ford told the Telegraph. ‘London has a vibrancy that is inspiring and much of what I create for men takes its inspiration from traditional British menswear.
‘My clothes are designed with an international customer in mind, and London is one of the most international cities on the planet.’
Though his womenswear shows have created a clamour with their canny blend of luxury, a-list models and secrecy (Ford has banned online journalists and photographers from his shows in the past), Ford started his eponymous line with menswear in 2006. Since then, he has dressed Johnny Depp, Colin Firth and Daniel Craig, who will wear Ford designs as 007 in Skyfall, the next James Bond film.
