Twitter's New World Order

Barack Obama has been outranked by Kim Kardashian on Twitter. He may be president of the United States but when it comes to social media he cant beat the power of reality TV.

Kardashian has just topped the 14 million mark in her Twitter following, eclipsing the president by a healthy one million fans. And like a true social media pro she got it out there by tweet: OMG 14 million! I can't believe it! Thank you guys so much!!!!

She also finds herself ahead of Bill Gates at around 5.5 million who manages to pip sister Kourtney to the post - albeit only by a hundred thousand or so followers.

Unsurprisingly Lady Gaga comes in at #1 with over 20 million little monsters trailing her every tweet with Justin Bieber a close second at 18.5 million and Katy Perry bringing up the rear at #3. Kim Kardashian is #7 and Obama #8.
