Actress and singer Vanessa Paradis has stepped in front of the camera for H&M to model the high street store's latest sustainable collection. Due to launch in March, the fashion-forward spring pieces are made from eco fabrics such as organic cotton and recycled polyester, neatly sticking both style and substance boxes.

Says Paradis of her new role, 'I like being part of something like the Conscious collection at H&M. I try my best to shop consciously, and vintage is very much part of my wardrobe. I love the style and it works in an eco-friendly way because I like to use and reuse old clothes.'

And the environmentally savvy collection isn't the only way that H&M are doing their bit to help save the planet. As it hits stores the brand is also set to launch a garment collecting. The idea? You take a bag of unwanted clothes from any brand into your nearest store and, in return, you'll receive an H&M voucher.
