The appointment follows on from his capsule collection for the diffusion label, which was shown last September at New York Fashion Week.
Speaking of their relationship, Donnatella said, ‘I’ve followed Anthony’s work from his very first collection, as soon as I met him I realised immediately he was the one, he gets it, his talent screams Versus Versace’
Details of where his debut collection will be shown haven’t been released yet but we certainly expect to be seeing his stamp on the brand's aesthetic at the upcoming autumn/winter 2015 show in March.
