The designer has confirmed that the small line will be showcased at the White Gallery bridal exhibition in May. Williamson's brand of richly embellished natural fabrics, and feminine shapes with a touch of twinkly exoticism which should translate beautifully from the catwalk to the wedding aisle. Speaking to ELLEuk.com earlier today, Williamson said:
“I wanted to create a bridal collection that is both a natural extension of the mainline eveningwear, but at the same time reflects the opulence of such an important celebratory event. The pieces are characterised by feminine, diaphanous silhouettes in richly embellished luxurious fabrics.”
We imagine the new collection may be in a similar vein to his Net-A-Porter range, which is online now. These five Net-A-Porter pieces are distinctively Williamson, with prettily bejewelled empire lines, and a light hint of laid back Bohemian style, providing strong echoes of his mainline trademarks.
