Two of London’s coolest designers have paired up with G-Shock to celebrate the watch label’s 30th anniversary by creating their own versions of the nineties cult classic. Fashion East's SIBLING and Maarten Van der Horst have thrown their signature vibrant prints at the watches – allegedly the toughest watch of all time – to make wrist candy that’ll even get the hipsters to be on time.

For SIBLING’s watch, designers Joe Bates, Sid Bryan and Cozette McCreery have updated the classic DW6900 model by plastering it with signature candy coloured leopard print, adding a bold red stripe for a retro feel.

Maarten Van Der Horst has gone for his instantly recognisable cacophony of tropical flora, emboldened by a neon pink watch face and splashed with the words DOOM and KAOS.

Despite the missed messages of pretty flowers and doom, we are 100% into these timekeepers and will be watching the clock til they drop on Thursday at the G-SHOCK store in East London’s Dray Walk. They'll set you back £250 - not bad for a time piece so durable you'll probably still have it when you're 90.
