The new season is here, and we’re sharpening our wallets for black leather and baroque embellishments, military hats and gothic crosses.

But while we all love a good fad, there’s is also a sizeable amount of space in our wardrobes that should be taken up with good, solid, well-made clothing. The kind of clothes that are the building blocks of any good outfit and which can always be relied on to make you look well turned-out.

Say hello to Ganni, the Danish label that has been building good outfits since 2000, and which is only now for the first time making a stand-alone appearance in a bricks-and-mortar British store.

From September 14th – just in time for London Fashion Week – Anthropologie on Kings Road will host a Ganni pop-up, which will run for six weeks in-store, allowing you plenty of time to stock up on Ganni classics.
My favourites: a butter-soft suede biker jacket which is cropped to the most perfectly flattering length, a cool pair of mannish-cut slacks in a delicious peach sorbet hue, and a lacy, drapey dress that will work around the clock, from boardroom to bar.
The Ganni pop-up opens on September 14th in the Kings Road Anthropologie space, where it will inhabit the store’s gallery space with a collection of 32 pieces.
