One is a cooler than cool interiors brand renowned for its deliciously quirky prints and maximalist aesthetics. The other is a world-renowned department store adored for its iconic fabrics. So the news that Dalston-based House of Hackney is launching its first ready-to-wear collection in Liberty this month is music to our fashionable ears.

Ever since landing on our radar with its Opening Ceremony hook-up, we’ve been huge fans of the hip homeware label’s fabulously chintzy wallpapers and cushions, if not for its twisted take on Laura Ashley style classics.
Landing in the famous store on June 18th, expect smock dresses, dungarees and flippy skirts all in faded and heavily dyed florals and leopard print. Boxy jumpers and pretty Peter Pan collars add the finishing touches to the Little House on the Prairie meets east London vibe. Cute, feminine and subversive, it’s screaming out to be worn at this summer’s festivals…
