Perhaps it’s something to do with Don Draper’s unbelievable apartment in the present series of Mad Men. Or it could be to do with the fact that London is pretty swinging right now. Either way, we’re in a Sixties kind of mood, so the new range of bags by Tila March using prints designed by the late David Hicks are right up our alley.
Just launched in Liberty, the range is designed by ex-French ELLE fashion editor Tamara Taichman together with her partner Nicolas Berdugo. The ELLE girl was given exclusive access to the archives of the renowned British interiors designer, and came up with this range of mini satchels, clutches and totes that make perfect use of the retro geometric prints, bringing them firmly into the now.
Our favourites are the little clutches – the perfect size for an iPad – and that lovely roomy cream leather tote which we will be pairing with mini dresses and block-heeled pumps a la Megan Draper.
