Last week editor Lorraine Candy asked the team about who their fantasy fashion collaborations would involve. They ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous, but some of our most memorable collabs have been between fashion and art.

So we were excited to see the new collaboration between sportswear kings Lacoste L!VE and Kansas City artist Micah Lidberg.
Lidberg’s signature hyper-real illustrations have decorated the pages of the New York Times, Nylon magazine and Orion books, and this is the first time his vibrant colours and cartoonish animal shapes have splashed their way onto clothing.
The capsule collection of polo shirts, t-shirts and a funky little shirt dress is exactly what we want to be wearing now that sitting in a park with friends is finally a weekend option.

Lidberg designed the collection with an aim to making it feel ‘young at heart'; the illustrations draw from figments of the childhood imagination, so you’ll find unicorns, dinosaurs and flying saucers aplenty.
For those who are forever young, we reckon this is the perfect collaboration.
T-shirts cost from £69 and are available from today at Lacoste's new flagship store, 44 Brompton Road London SW£ 1BW
