With the sun finally out, we’ve all begun fantasising about our summer holiday wardrobes. Whether the holiday’s booked or not, it’s hard not to be swept into warm weather reveries and right now the new brand floating our boat is Lazul.

Just landed in Harrods today, the swimwear label is all about louche luxury to take you from pool to club via a whirl on somebody’s yacht. Vibrant kaftans are made from smooth silks that slip away to reveal flashes of bronzed shoulder or back. Too pretty to keep for the beach, we want to wear them with stacked wedges and outsize cocktail rings for our next jaunt to Capri.

Designer Nina Deckers - formerly at Heidi Klein and Agent Provocateur – wends her magic into every single piece so bikinis boost in the right places and shave in others, and the details cleverly draw attention to all the right spots. Tiny gold serpents curl around the halterneck straps of a triangle bikini, and the bum of a coral one-piece is cut to be just the right side of cheeky.

All of the products are 100% made in Europe, with prints being produced in Como, Italy – a suitably glamorous spot for swimwear so utterly fabulous.
