If you’re contemplating a shopping spree this weekend, you might want to hold off until Monday, as Whistles have something special coming into store next week.
The high street store launch their first collaboration with jewellery designer Lulu Frost, an ELLE favourite (look closely and you’ll see the beautifully bold jewellery making many appearances in the What ELLE Wears to work blog).
Lisa Salzer is the designer for Lulu Frost, and her eclectic mish-mash of modern elements and vintage styles; jumbles of pearls, metals, rhinestones and jewels stems from a long family heritage of jewellery-making stretching back generations.
For the first collaboration of the New York based brand with a British high street store, Salzer has come up trumps with beautiful Deco inspired pieces encrusted in crystals. My favourite without a doubt is Sandra necklace, with emerald green stones set into teardrop gold shapes and a rich blue and rhinestone pendant at centre.
Earrings are opulent and bracelets are chunky, and every item in the 8-piece collection is extremely covetable – you have been warned.
Lulu Frost for Whistles is available from Tuesday October 16th and prices range from £65 to £120
