So I intend to embrace my love of all things craft with the help of my latest discovery, Wool and the Gang, and knit one for myself.
Wool and the Gang is a Parisian knitting collective headed by former-model Lisa Sabrier and passionate knitter Carolyn Main that uses Peruvian wool to produce warm and cosy products. But my eye has been caught by the DIY sets. Now I have to admit to being the world's worst knitter - I have the evidence in a drawer at home to prove it - but I'm hoping I can't go too far wrong with a tube. The kit that I'll be snapping up (£65) comes complete with wool, knitting needles and detailed instructions, and falls in the category of beginner - perfect. And if I get really stuck there's lots of very helpful how-to videos on the brand's site to give me some pointers.
Wool and the Gang would be available from Net-A-Porter in the coming weeks, but in the meantime visit www.woolandthegang.com to find out more.
