Kerpow! Look what’s just landed into Dover Street Market, in a blaze of riotous cartoon colour. It’s a limited range of Comme des Garcons T-shirts, and we can’t decide which one we like the best. Each of the four T-shirts is designed by Rei Kawakubo in collaboration with a different artist.
So, will it be the pixelated Sim City world of E Boy? The giant gnashing gorilla of Andreas Ganther? The storybook children of Ali Mitgutsch or the bewildering world of Where’s Wally?
Available in both men’s and women’s sizes, the T-shirts are brightening up the ground floor of Dover Street Market from today. But hurry, they won’t be around for long – delay too long and all you’ll find is a cartoonish puff of dust in their wake.
