Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Basso and Brooke – they were all at it on the S/S 09 catwalks - blinding us with colour, from tangerine to red, cobalt to yellow. As exciting as it is, it has made our winter wardrobe suddenly look a little lacklustre. We want colour and we want it now. There is one gem of a shade we can guarantee is probably already lurking in your wardrobe. The shade? Purple of course.
