The British Managing Director of Hervé Léger came under fire (and subsequently, was fired) last week, after making the following discriminatory comments: ‘If you’re a committed lesbian and you are wearing trousers all your life, you won’t want to buy a Léger dress. Lesbians would want to be rather butch and leisurely.’
Hmm. Patrick Couderc clearly didn’t realise that there isn’t one type of lesbian who dresses one certain way and that actually, sexuality really has nothing to do with how good you look in a dress.
Which is exactly what butch model, Rain Dove has proved in a post on instagram. Rain visited the Hervé Léger store on Melrose in LA, tried on a few dresses and said she had ‘the BEST time’.
It sure looks like it and we think Rain looks amazing. GO RAIN.
