Cara Delevingne Is Back In The Modelling Game

For Saint Laurent - though she says she 'never quit'

If you thought Cara Delevingne had quit modelling, think again.

The 23-year-old is the new face of Saint Laurent's La Collection De Paris, the collection that was shown at Paris Fashion Week just a few weeks ago.

'I never quit', she tweeted as the images were released, much to the surprise of many who thought she'd ditched posing in favour of pursuing her dream to become an actress.

Just a few weeks ago she wrote an in-depth essay for TIME, in which she detailed her struggle with the modelling profession.

‘Over time, I came to realize that work and getting others’ approval isn’t the most important thing,' she wrote. 'Yes, your career is very important—but it’s not the most important. Of course I was proud of my accomplishments, but I wasn’t genuinely happy.’

Since cutting back her modelling commitments, Delevingne has won roles in films including Paper Towns, Suicide Squad and Valerian.

Earlier this week Jane Birkin was unveiled as the face of Saint Laurent's iconic Le Smoking tuxedo - making it a pretty good week for the French fashion house.
