The Rio 2016 Olympics kick off tonight, marking just over two weeks of non-stop sporting glory (hopefully for Team GB). But aside from sporting excellence, we'll have our beady eyes on the outfits and kits the teams will be wearing. Here are some of the best to keep your eyes peeled for..

USA

While Nike produces all of Team USA's performance kit, all-American designer Ralph Lauren creates the outfits the team will wear for the opening and closing ceremonies.

For the opening ceremony they will wear a preppy blazer and white trousers combo, complete with patriotic deck shoes.

And it features  'USA' on the back of the jacket that will light up. LIGHT UP!

For the closing ceremony they'll look a bit more casual, in shorts, shirts and stripy t-shirts.

SWEDEN

Swedish high street giant H&M has created the opening and closing ceremony outfits, as well as performance kit for Team Sweden, all in yellow and blue of course.

They get really snazzy jackets...

And cool logo sweaters...

GREAT BRITAIN

It's not been been revealed who will dress Team GB for the opening ceremony - in 2012 it was Next (and the outfits didn't go down too well...) - but Stella McCartney has once again teamed up with Adidas to produce all of the performance an Olympic Village outfits.

And Jessica Ennis makes it look pretty awesome...

CUBA

Cuba lucked out big time in the Olympic outfits department.

For the closing ceremony and other official non-competing events, the 120-strong team have been outfitted by none other than Christian Louboutin, with men wearing a classic hi-top sneaker or 'Naza Star' loafer, and women the kitten-heeled 'Naza Sandal'.

Their accompanying outfits have been designed with the help Henri Tai, a former professional handball player and founder of e-concept store sportyhenri.com, and take their cue from Louboutin's signature red soles.

FRANCE

Heritage sporting brand Lacoste has kitted out the French team.

'The idea was to do something chic that is representative of the Lacoste spirit, founded by [tennis legend] René Lacoste — so very clean cut and very precise,' said Lacoste's artistic director Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

Lacoste's designs will be worn at the opening and closing ceremonies, on the winner's podium, and throughout the Olympic Village.

CANADA

Designer twins Dean and Dan Caten, otherwise known as DSquared2, have created the Canadian team's outfits for the opening and closing ceremonies...

They are described as 'an innovative mash-up of two diverse worlds: tailoring and sport.'

ITALY

Italian national treasure Giorgio Armani has created the team's look via his EA7 offshoot.

The team will wear the kit around the Olympic Village, as well as on the winner's podium.
